RESOLUTION NO. 94-313
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING
THE PLANNING DIRECTOR TO FORWARD TO
THE GOVERNORS OFFICE OF PLANNING AND
RESEARCH AND THE CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT COPIES OF THE UPDATED
GENERAL PLAN (1994).

9 WHEREAS, State of California law (Government Code Section 65400) re1
10 the legislative body of each local jurisdiction to review and consider an annual rep
11 the progress of the jurisdiction in implementing the programs of its general plan; i
-I2 /I WHEREAS, a comprehensive update of the Carlsbad General Plan, prepal

due to the recent approval date, they will permit the Updated General Plan to cons 17
WHEREAS, the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research has indicated

accordance with the State of California General Plan Guidelines, was considerec
approved by the City Council on September 6, 1994;
the City’s first annual report;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council (
forwarded to the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research and the Calif
Department of Housing and Community Development;

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Planning Director is directed to forward to the Governor’s (
of Planning and Research and the California Department of Housinl
Community Development copies of the Updated General Plan.
