A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY
TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, at their
meeting held on December 13, 1994, considered the Comprehensive Housing
Affordability Strategy (CHAS) Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993-94 for
the City’s Community Development Block Grant program;
ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-94
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California approves the
submittal of the CHAS Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993-94 for the
City’s Community Development Block Grant program to the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is committed to continuing to provide low-
income housing in the City as is outlined in the Housing Element of the General Plan and
in the Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS), a five year plan to
increase assisted housing, which is required by HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council as
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The City Council approves the submittal of the Comprehensive Housing
Affordability Strategy Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993-94 for
the City’s Community Development Block Grant program.
3. The City Council hereby authorizes the Housing and Redevelopment Director to
execute documents required for the submittal of said Document. .... ....

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 13th day of December,
1994, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis , Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
