A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF
A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CDBG PROGRAM YEAR
1995-96; ACCEPTING PUBLIC COMMENTS AND APPROVING
THE 1995-96 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN; AND
APPROVING THE REVISED APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS
AND OTHER RELATED CDBG DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is entitled to a new allocation

Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for fiscal year 1995-96; 9
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U. S. Department
lo I/ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Califon

12 considered the distribution of a "Request for Proposals" for Carlsbad's 1995-96 CD:

WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account. 15

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That staff of the Housing and Redevelopment Department is herc
authorized to distribute a "Request for Proposals" for the CiQ
Carlsbad's 1995-96 Community Development Block GI
Program.
3. That the City Council has hereby approved the 1995
Community Development Plan, required by federal regulations,

4. That the City Council has hereby approved revisions to Carlsbac
Application Review Process, CDBG Funding Committee: Rol
and Responsibilities, Citizen Participation Plan, and Gene]
Administrative Procedures for its Community Development Blo
Grant Program.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of t
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 10th day of
JANUARY , 1995, by the following vote, to wit:
