A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD,CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF CARLSBAD
!5 11 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Arts Office in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of

7 received a grant from the California Arts Council to present an am program (“YES to Arts”)
high school age youth; and 8

WHEREAS, the $15,000 grant received from the California Arts Council is to be ma
$22,500 from the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad has received a $I 0,000 grant fro
Diego Community Foundation for this expressed purpose; and
