RESOLUTION NO. 9 5 - 16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
FOR SETI'LEMENT OF THE UNITED PACIFIC
INSURANCE COMPANY, WILLIAM AND LINDA
PETERSEN PROPERTY CLAIM
WHEREAS, on recommendation of the City Attorney, the City Council
the City of Carlsbad, California has determined that a settlement of the United Pacific
Insuran, z Company, William and Linda Petersen property claim is in the public interes
and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available in the liability self-
insurant e reserve account to pay the settlement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Zarlsbad, California, as follows:
a. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council approves the settlement and authorizes thc
disburst ment of $10,574.77 from the liability self-insurance reserve account for the Uni.
Pacific ..nsurance Company, William and Linda Petersen property claim.
3. That the Property Damage Release is hereby approved.
