HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-03-28; City Council; Resolution 95-76> a 0 3, /I RESOLUTION NO. 95-76 2 3 4 5 6 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN REPRESENTATIVES OF MANAGEMENT AND THE CARLSBAD POLICE OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS, representatives of management and the Carlsbad a Police Officers’ Association have met and conferred in good faith 9 pursuant to the Meyers-Millias-Brown Act regarding wages and othe lo terms and conditions of employment from May 1994 to March 1995; 11 12 13 WHEREAS, said representatives have reached agreement whid 14 they desire to submit to the City Council for consideration and and 15 16 approval; and I? // WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it to be in the 18 public interest to accept such an agreement in the form of a ll x’ I/ Memorandum of Understanding, marked Exhibit A and incorporated b: 20 21 reference herein; 22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the 23 25 24 City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That $75,000 in funds will be transferred from the 3 4 Council’s General Fund Balance to cover the expense of a three (3%) 5 salary adjustment effective January 1, 1995, for each employee in 6 10 9 Safety Personnel as set out in Exhibit B be adopted. * date.
