RESOLUTION NO. 95-87
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI:
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
RETENTION OF ADDITIONAL SPECIAL COUNSEL
WHEREAS, Section 2.14.130 of the Carlsbad Munic
Code provides that the City Council may employ special COI
under terms it considers proper; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined,
recommendation of the City Attorney, that it is necessa~
retain additional special counsel for defense of ge:
liability and workers‘ compensation claims, and
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from th
Offices of Charles A. Viviano which is attached to
resolution as Exhibit IrA@@ and is hereby incorporate
reference; and
WHEREAS, the City has received proposals
Heggeness & Sweet and Graves, Roberson & Bourassa whicl
attached to this resolution as Exhibits s@B@l and @IC1@ an(
hereby incorporated by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counc
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
