RESOLUTION NO. 9 5 - 10 8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. 3412 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH BEACH RESTROOMS.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the Ciy of Carlsbad for the construc
North Beach Restrooms, Project No. 3412; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the project was submitted by C.D.M. in 1
of $1 81,771 ; and
WHEREAS, total project costs are $265,000 and
WHEREAS, Council has previous appropriated $1 60,000 for Project Number
WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $105,000 are needed to cor
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Crty Council of the Crty of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bid of $181,771 by C.D.M. for Project No. 3412 for the construc
North Beach Restrooms is accepted, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
thereafter.
3. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate additional
$105,000 to Project Account No. 300-820-1820-3412 and transfer $105,OOO from tt
Fund balance to the GCC Fund.

4. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve construction chan!

up to a cumulative amount of $46,000.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Cif
held on the 25th day of APRIL , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Nygaard
