RESOLUTION NO. 95-133
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURSUE
TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDING FROM
SANDAG FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN
PROJECTS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT CARLSBAD
WHEREAS, the Clty of Carlsbad has determined that bicycle and pedestrian facili
be part of roadway improvements as indicated in the Circulation Element of the Gent
and
WHEREAS, the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) has solicited fr

11 WHEREAS, the construction of various bicycle and sidewalk improvements in
12 has been included on the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program;
13 WHEREAS, funds have been established and are available through SANDAC
14 governments for construction of bicycle and pedestrian facilities;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Clty of (
16 California as follows:
17 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
18 2. That the City Council authorizes the submittal of an application to the S ’ 9 Associations of Government (SANDAG) for the construction of the following four projs
projects for the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; and
