RESOLUTION NO. 95-148
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF ALGA ROAD AND
EL FUERTE STREET, PROJECT NO. 3445.
WHEREAS, the Ci Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it n
desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for the construction of a traffic
the intersection of Alga Road and El Fuerte Street; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on May 18, 1995 for the projecl
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submitter
Electric, Inc., in the amount of $92,633.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Knox Electric, Inc., in the amount of $92
hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf (
for the construction of said traffic signal.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Ca
held on the 13th day of JUNE , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
