RESOLUTION NO- 95-149
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION
AGREEMENT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF SUCH
PROGRAM BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO.
WHEREAS, the City Council on February 8, 1994, appr
establishment of the Carlsbad Residential Rehabilitation Prog
and
WHEREAS, the City Council on May 3, 1994, appr
$86,136 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for
rehabilitation of single family dwellings and mobilehomes; a]
WHEREAS, there exists a need within the City of Carl
to assist property owners with rehabilitation of their sin
family dwellings and mobilehome units; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be in the
interest of the citizens of Carlsbad to provide an agencl
administer a single-family rehabilitation program for elig
property owners; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of San D
has the expertise, staff and resources to enable it to imple:
and administer all aspects of a Single Family Residen
Rehabilitation Program.
NOW, THEREFOREf BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Cou
of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The City Council hereby approves the amendment to
Residential Rehabilitation Agreement between the City and
County of San Diego to make available $86,136 in CDBG
administration of the Single Family Residential Rehabilita.
