RESOLUTION NO. 95-244
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. CS95-6
FOR THE REROOF OF CITY HALL NORTH AND SOUTH WINGS.
5 11 WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad, California

the Reroof of City Hall North and South Wings; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bid received was submitted by Bryar
Universal in the amount of $84,630; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Community Services
~ Department Facilities Management Major Maintenance Account Number 001 -820-532C
2462.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c
14 Carlsbad, California as follows:
15 1. The above recitations are true and correct.

3. Council finds that bid indicating 100% sublet was an immaterial defect z 18
Management Major Maintenance Account Number 001-820-5320-2462. 17
2. Funds are available in the Community Services Department Facilities
that Contractor will perform 100% of work with its own organization. Council hereby
2o waives the immaterial defect.

4. The bid of $84,630 by Bryant Universal for the Reroof of City Hall North
and South Wings, Contract No. CS95-6 is hereby accepted and the Mayor and the Cit
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract therefore.
