RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT IN A SPECIAL
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CARLS
CALIFORNIA, did publicly open, examine and declare all se 6

proposals or bids for doing certain of the works of improve
as set forth and shown on the plans and specifications ~i
were approved for proceedings in a special assessment distr

Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
special assessment district known and designated as ASSES2
DISTRICT NO. 92-1 (LA COSTA DOWNS) (hereinafter referred t
the "Assessment District").

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true
correct.
SECTION 2. That this legislative body hereby rejects a

said proposals or bids except that herein mentioned, and
hereby award the construction contract for doing said worl
making improvements in the Assessment District to the 1(
responsible bidder, to-wit:
BASILE CONSTRUCTION, INC.

at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file wit1
transcript of these proceedings and open for public inspec.

SECTION 3. That this award of contract is h
conditioned upon and made subject to the receipt of monie
proceeds from the issuance and sale of bonds. The Contr
