A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A COFFEE CART
OPERATION IN THE ATRIUM OF THE MAIN CARLSBAD
LIBRARY AND APPROPRIATING SHARED REVENUE.

WHEREAS, staff plan to contract with a vendor to operate a coffee cart

the main Carlsbad Library by December 1995; and
WHEREAS, library patrons, staff, and the Library Board believe such ar
10 operation will be a popular and well-used service to the public; and
11 WHEREAS, there is the potential for gross income estimated at about 9
I.2 11 per month.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c
Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
17 2. That staff be authorized to proceed with a Request for Proposal
18 a Concession Permit to secure the services of a vendor for the coffee cart.
