RESOLUTION NO. 95-298
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF ALGA ROAD AND
BATIQUITOS DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 3474
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it ne
desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for the construction of a traffic
the intersection of Alga Road and Batiquitos Drive; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on September 28, 1995 for the prc
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submitted
Electric, lnc., in the amount of $90,392.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of '
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Select Electric, Inc., in the amount of $90,391
accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the C
construction of said traffic signal.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Ci
held on the 17th day of OCTOBER , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
