A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 3466A FOR THE GRADING OF SDG&E'S
EASEMENT ON OLIVENHAIN ROAD, PROJECT NO. 3466A.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby finds it necessary, c
and in the public interest to widen Olivenhain Road; and
WHEREAS, a bid has been received by the City of Carlsbad for the constructic
project; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received to construct said project was submitted
Corporation in the amount of $60,000; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in Project Account No. 440-820-1 89C
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bid of $60,000 by Pahla Corporation for Project No. 3466A for tt
of SDG&Es easement is accepted, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
therefor.
3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve construction char
up to 25% $15,000.

4. That the award of this contract is contingent upon executing the required co
submitting the required bond and insurance policies within twenty (20) days of adopi
resolution. Reasonable extensions of time may be granted by the City Manager.
