RESOLUTION NO. 9 5 - 3 1 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONCRETE REPAIRSAND
PAVEMENT OVERLAYS IN THE SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF THE CITY,
PROJECT NOS. 241 1 AND 241 2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it ne
desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for concrete repairs and F
overlays in the southwest quadrant of the City; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on October 26, 1995 for the proj
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submitted
Corporation/California Commercial Asphalt, Inc., J.V., in the amount of $393,534.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Daley Corporation/California Commercial Aspt
J.V., in the amount of $393,534 is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authc
execute a contract on behalf of the City for concrete repairs and pavement overlays.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 7 th day of NOVEMBER , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
