RESOLUTION NO. 95-359
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECLASSlFYlNlG TWO
FIGHTER, DELETING FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC
AND REVISING PARAMEDIC/FIREFIGHTEER
CLASSIFICATIONS, AND AMENDING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
SALARY SCHEDULE.
FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDICS TO PARAIMEDICIFIRE-
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council concurs, that
is desirable and necessary to reclassify two Firefighter/Paaamedics to ParamedidFi
fighter in the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the (City Council concurs, that '
Firefighter/Paramedic be deleted and the ParamedidFirefighter job specification be
revised (Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council concurs, that
Fire Department Salary Schedule (Attachment B) be amendeid; and,
WHEREAS, the City and the Carlsbad Firefighters' Association have met and
conferred on the impacts of this recommendation on represented employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

2. That the City Council authorizes and directs the City Manager to reclas
