RESOLUTION NO. 96-3
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TOAGREEMENT NO. 1419-5 WITH THE PC
OF LOS ANGELES REGARDING THE BATIQUITOS LAGOON ENHANCEME PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has previously
into an agreement with the Port of Los Angeles regarding the reimbursement of all (
the construction phase of the Batiquitos Lagoon Enhancement Project subsequently n
by mutually approved Amendment No. 1; and
WHEREAS, the parties to said agreement desire to further amend said agreement ai
prepared Amendment No. 2 to said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby finds it ne
desirable, and in the public interest to approve Amendment No. 2 to said agreemei
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That Amendment No. 2 to Agreement 1419-5 with the Port of Los An
hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute said amendment. The Cit
is hereby authorized to forward six (6) signed copies of said amendment to the Por
Angeles, attention Dennis McCarrbery, Commission Secretary, 425 South Palos Verdei
P. 0. Box 151, San Pedro, California 90733-0151, and one (1) copy to the Corr
Development Department.
