A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD AND IAW/CRANDALL, INC., FOR ANNUAL MATERIAL
TESTING SERVICES FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it necessary,
and in the public interest to provide materials testing services as an element of the cor
process for City capital improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, staff has solicited proposals from qualified materials testing firms tc
these necessary services to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of (
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute a contractor agreement
the City of Carlsbad and Law/Crandall, Inc., to provide materials testing services.
3. That the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized and directed to issue e
purchase order to Law/Crandall, Inc.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Cit]
held on the 6th day of FEBRUARY , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
