A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAC
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR STREET SEALING IN THI
SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF THE CITY, PROJECT NO. 241 2s.
WHEREAS, the Clty Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it ne
desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for street sealing in the sc
quadrant of the City; and
WHEREAS, two (2) sealed bids were received on November 16,1995 for the proj
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was subrr
Schaefer’s Parking Lot Service in the amount of $1 95,651.75.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the low bid submitted by Schaefer’s Parking Lot Service in the
of $1 95,651.75 is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a con
behalf of the City with Schaefer’s Parking Lot Service for street sealing as specifiec
contract documents.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 13th day of Februarv , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, and Hall
