RESOLUTION NO, 96-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF THE TELEPHONE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the telephone system maintenance agreement ’
Atel Communications, Inc. expired on January 9, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the city is upgrading communication links
between some facilities; and
WHEREAS, Atel Communications, Inc. is completing tho
upgrades to ensure compatibility; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to maintain the system durii
those upgrades.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the telephone system maintenance agreement I
Atel Communications, Inc. is hereby extended to June 30, 199t
That the City Manager may approve additional mont
extensions in order to allow for the completion of the upgrac
but in no event shall the contract be extended beyond Septemk
30, 1996.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of
the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 5th day of
March, 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Kulchin
