RESOLUTION NO. 96-101
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CURB,
GUTTER AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION, PROJECT NO. 3391 -3.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it nec
desirable, and in the public interest to construct curb, gutter and sidewalk on Magnolia
and Valley Street; and
WHEREAS, the plans, specifications, and contract documents for completing this
have been prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the Clty of Carlsb
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available to construct this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ci
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents as presented are
approved.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
in accordance with State law, a notice to contractors inviting bids for the construction
gutter and sidewalk, Project No. 3391-3, in accordance with the plans, specificatio
contract documents referred to herein.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 26th day of March , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila and Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Lewis
