RESOLUTION NO. 96-137
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY
ACCOUNT FOR ENGINEERING PLANCHECK SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has considered the
appropriate additional funding for Engineering plancheck services; and
WHEREAS, Engineering revenues have increased sufficiently to offset the ac
plancheck service costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cl
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $80,000 from the Genei
Contingency Account to the Engineering Plancheck Services account.

That this additional appropriation is necessary to fund plancheck services.
That Engineering revenues have increased sufficiently to offset the inc
expenditure.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 23rd day of APRIL , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
