A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD
ON MARCH 26, 1996, DECLARING THE RESULTS AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW
WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election was held
conducted in the City of CarPsbad, California, on Tuesday,
26, 1996, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of the election was given in time, foi
manner as provided by law; that voting precincts were prc
established; that election officers were appointed; and that j
respects the election was held and conducted and the votes
cast, received and canvassed and the returns made and declar
time, form and manner as required by the provisions oj
Elections Code of the State of California for the holdii
elections in general law cities; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 95
adopted December 5, 1995, the San Diego County Registrar of Ti
canvassed the returns of the election and has certified the re
to this City Council, and the results are received, attache
made a part hereof as Exhibit I1Al1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council c
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the whole number of ballots cast in the C
