RESOLUTION NO. 96-167
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND BALANCE TO THE
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OPERATING BUDGET FOR STORM
WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLANS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has considered tt-
to appropriate additional funding to the Engineering Department 1995-96 Fiscal Year OF
Budget for storm water pollution prevention plans; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the general fund balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $25,00Ofrom the Generi
Balance to the Engineering Department 1995-96 Operating Budget.
3. That this additional appropriation is necessary to fund storm water p'
prevention plans.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City (
1996 held on the 7th day of MAY , 3&& by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis
