RESOLUTION NO. 96-185
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CHIP SEALING A
PORTION OF ALGA ROAD, PROJECT NO. 3305.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it nec
desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for chip sealing a portion of Algi
and
WHEREAS, four (4) sealed bids were received on May 8, 1996 for the project; a
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was subm
California Pavement Maintenance Co., Inc., in the amount of $91,421.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ci
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by California Pavement Maintenance Co., Inc.
amount of $91,421 is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
on behalf of the City with California Pavement Maintenance Co., Inc., for chip sealing E
of Alga Road as specified in the contract documents.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 21st day of MAY , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
