RESOLUTION NO. 96-189
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR THE
1996 GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN TRAFFIC MONITORING
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad solicited Req
Qualifications from consulting traffic engineering firms to perform the traffic monitoring I
of the Growth Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the firm of JHK & Associates was selected as the most qualified to
the work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby finds it necessary, dc
and in the public interest to award the consultant agreement to JHK & Associates of Sal
California, to provide services for said project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has previously collected Traffic Impact Fees to fi
project; and
WHEREAS, funding for the Growth Management Plan Traffic Monitoring Progi
been included and will be appropriated with the 1996-97 Capital Improvement Program
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the consultant fee of $43,285 will be charged to the Growth Managemc
Traffic Monitoring Program (Project Account No. 31 0-820-1 840-331 6).

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 4th day of JUNE , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
