RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 283
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE
INTERSECTION OF PASEO DEL NORTE AND CAMINO DE LAS
ONDAS, PROJECT NO. 3427.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has deterrr
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for the construction of
signal at the intersection of Paseo del Norte and Camino de las Ondas; and
WHEREAS, six (6) sealed bids were received on July 9, 1996 for the project; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submi
Lekos Electric, Inc., in the amount of $81,091.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C:
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Lekos Electric, Inc., in the amount of $81,091 is
accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City
construction of said traffic signal.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 20thday of August , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Hall and Finnila
NOES: None
ABSENT None
