RESOLUTION NO. 96-286
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF
$43,520.00 FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Carlsbad Library have donated $43,520.00 1
the library, and;
WHEREAS, the library and the Friends have agreed that this donation will I
used in support of children’s programs, and for the purchase of library materials
and Internet access;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City Council accepts the gift of $43,520.00 from the Friend:
of the Library on behalf of all citizens of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 20th day of August
by the following vote, to wit:
