A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.41 OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL CODE AND AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY’S
LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM TO ALLOW SPECIFIED
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE M, C-M, AND P-M ZONES TO
MAINTAIN A COMPANY FLAG WHEN FLOWN IN
TRADITIONAL COMBINATION WITH THE FEDERAL AND
STATE FLAGS.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on August 7, 1996, hold a duly
noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider Zone Code Amendment 96-08 and
Local Coastal Plan Amendment 96-07 and adopted Planning Commission Resolutions No.
3968 and 3969 recommending to the City Council that they be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on the 1st day of Octobgr
1996, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider the proposed
amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and the City’s Local Coastal Program; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all
testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, the City Council
considered all factors relating to the Zone Code Amendment and Local Coastal Program
Amendment.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby resolve as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the findings of the Planning Commission in Resolutions No. 3968 and
3969 constitute the findings of the City Council in this matter.
3. That the Zone Code Amendment and Local Coastal Program Amendment,
ZCA 96-08 and LCPA 96-07 respectively, are approved as shown in Planning
