RESOLUTION NO. 96-341
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR CITY
SERVICES AND AMENDING THE MASTER FEE
SCHEDULE.
CASE NAME: ADOPTION OF FEES FOR LOCAL
COASTAL PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
PERMITS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has the authc
establish fees for City services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the cost of providing develo
related application processing services in conjunction with the Local Coastal Program
development permit process; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary to recover costs for SUC
services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the fees shown in Exhib
attached hereto, are fair and do not exceed the reasonable cost to provide the services rec
and
WHEREAS, the California Coastal Commission has tentatively schedulc
effective certification of the LCP for its October 12, 1996 meeting; and
WHEREAS, delegation of permit authority to the City could be effective 01
21,1996; and
WHEREAS, a statement that the data required by Government Code S
66016 is available and was mailed at least 14 days prior to the meeting to any person requ
it; and

WHEREAS, the data indicating the amount of estimated cost to pro\
application processing services and the anticipated revenue sources therefor have bee,
available to the public for at least 10 days prior to the meeting; and
WHEREAS the City Council has held a duly noticed public hearing
meeting and allowed for public comment on the establishment of said fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 1
Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. That the fee schedule shown in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is
adopted and the Master Fee Schedule is amended to include said fees.
2. That all other development-related fees shall remain under the cor
previous resolutions adopted by the City Council.
3. That the fees covered under this resolution shall become effective t
after the adoption of this resolution.
