A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE
INTERSECTION OF AVIARA PARKWAY AND FOUR SEASONS POINT, PROJECT NO. 3501.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determ
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for the construction of i
signal at the intersection of Aviara Parkway and Four Seasons Point, Project No. 3501; anc
WHEREAS, three (3) sealed bids were received on October 17, 1996 for the projec
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submit
Select Electric, Inc., in the amount of $82,144.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ca
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Select Electric, Inc., in the amount of $82,144 is I
accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City
construction of said traffic signal.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City C
held on the 12th day of November , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
