RESOLUTION NO. 96-384
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIREFIGHTING PERSONNEL
BETWEEN THE ClTv AND THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO COU NTY
WHEREAS, Aircraft Rescue Firefighting capability at Mc Clellan-Palomar Airport must be
enhanced to conform to the Index A requirements contained in Federal Aviation Regulations, Part
“Certification and Ope rations: Land AirPorts Se rvina Certain Air Carriers”, and
WHEREAS, the City and the County find that it would be mutually beneficial for the City to
provide personnel to perform aircraft rescue firefighting services at Mc Clellan-Palomar Airport, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interests of the City and the Count]
enter into the agreement attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californ
follows:
