RESOLUTION NO. 9 7 -5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A
CONTRACT FOR THE BUENA VISTA CHANNEL DREDGING
PROJECT NO. 2489.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determil
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to dredge Buena Vista Channel; and
WHEREAS, two (2) sealed bids were received on December 17, 1996 for the p
and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submitted I
Environmental in the amount of $195,714.95; and
WHEREAS, City staff has analyzed DK Environmental’s bid and find no ambil
impacting their status as the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cal
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by DK Environmental, in the amount of $195,711
hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of tt
for the Buena Vista Channel Dredging.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City C
held on the 7th day of January , 1997 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
