RESOLUTION NO. 97-443
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
MONROE STREET AND CHESTNUT AVENUE STREET LIGHTS,
PROJECT NO. 3503.
6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determine(

necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct the Monroe Street and Chesl
9 WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material, to
equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for said project have bc
prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and
incorporated by reference herein;

12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb

14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents as presented are herc
16 approved.
17 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to pub1
18 in accordance with State Law, Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the construction of
Monroe Street and Chestnut Avenue Street Lights, Project No. 3503. ' 19
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cou 20
held on the 15th day of April , 1997 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin and Hall
NOES: None
