RESOLUTION NO. 97-479
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A
CONTRACT FOR THE POINSETTIA LANE AND BATIQUITOS
DRIVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL, PROJECT NO. 3482.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determine

necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct the Poinsettia Lane and Batiql
8 WHEREAS, four (4) sealed bids were received on May 20, 1997 for the project; and
9 WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submittec
10 Lekos, Inc., in the amount of $92,000; and
11 WHEREAS, City staff has analyzed Lekos, Inc.’s bid and find no ambiguities impac
12 their status as the lowest responsible bidder.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carls
14 California, as follows:

2. That the low bid submitted by Lekos, Inc.,in the amount of $92,000 is he 16

accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City fol
19 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City COI
20 held on the 10th day of June , 1997 by the following vote, to wit:
21 AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, and Hall
22 NOES: None
23 ABSENT: Council Member Nygaard
