RESOLUTION NO. 97-483
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE
DIRECTOR TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT OPERATING BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has considered the need
6 1 I appropriate additional funding for Engineering plancheck and inspection services; and
7 11 WHEREAS, Engineering revenues have increased sufficiently to offset the additic
8 plancheck and inspection service costs.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlst

1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 11
California, as follows:
12 2. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $200,000 from the Gen
13 Fund Contingency Account to the Engineering FY 1996-97 Operating Budget.
3. That this additional appropriation is necessary to fund plancheck and inspec 14
services.
15 4. That Engineering revenues have increased sufficiently to offset the incre:
16 expenditure.

18 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City COI
19 held on the 10th day of June , 1997 by the following vote, to wit:
20 AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, and Hall
