CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 97-631
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO CONSIDER A ZONE CODE AMENDMENT TO
ESTABLISH A NEW OVERLAY ZONE AROUND THE
CARLSBAD RANCWLEGOLAND SPECIFIC PLAN AREA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California tl
Pursuant to Section 21.52.020 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code the City Cc
of the City of Carlsbad hereby declares its intention to consider an amendment of Title 21 I
Carlsbad Municipal Code to:
Establish a new, customized overlay zone designed to protect and
implement the long term vision of quality development around the
Carlsbad Ranch Specific Plan area, in accordance with the City’s General
Plan.
The Planning Director is directed to study said amendment and after appro
study set the matter for public hearing before the Planning Commission and this City Count
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Cc
of the City of Carlsbad, California, on the 15th day of October 1997, by
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, and
NOES: None
