RESOLUTION NO. 97-656
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, FOR AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE
REHABILITATION OF THE WASHINGTON STREET 10 AND
12-INCH GRAVITY SEWER PIPELINE, CMWD PROJECT
NO. 97-1 03, CONTRACT 34521
WHEREAS, the City Council of Carlsbad, California has previous1

12-Inch Gravity Sewer Pipeline, CMWD Project No. 97-103, Contract No. 34521; and 7
authorized the advertisement for bids for the Rehabilitation of the Washington Street IO an'
8 WHEREAS, two (2) sealed bids were received on October 15, 1997, for sai
9 project; and

WHEREAS, all bid documents received from all bidders have been reviewe
in detail and the City Council does hereby find that the lowest responsive, responsible bic
received for the construction of said project was submitted by Sancon Engineering II, Inc. il
the amount of $1 16,370; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $600,000 have been appropriated in thc
sewer line replacement Budget and are available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
