RESOLUTION NO. 97-680
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROPRIATING $25,000 FROM THE GAS TAX FUND TO THE STREET MAINTENANCE MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the handrail pickets over the Agua Hedionda Bridge and along Carl:
Boulevard are failing and require immediate repair; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined the best course of action is to replace said han
pickets; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds are not available in the Street Maintenance Miscellant
Services Account; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds are available in the Gas Tax Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsba
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The Finance Director is hereby directed and authorized to appropriate $25,000
the Gas Tax Fund to the Street Maintenance Miscellaneous Services acc
number 001 50557556.

regular meeting held on the 18th day of November , 1997, by the following vote, to v
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, and Hall
