CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 97-709
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT FOR THE
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1997, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California selecte
programs to receive funding under the City's 1997-98 Community Development Block Grant (CI
Program;
CITY OF CARLSBAD'S 1997-98 FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has considered the req
subrecipient agreement with the Brother Benno Foundation for 1997-98 Community Development 1
Grant funds; i
WHEREAS, the City has determined that this Community Development Block Grant fu
activity is exempt from environmental review under 24 CFR Section 58.34 (a)(4); and,

1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 11
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account;

2. That the City Council hereby approves the 1997-98 Community Development Block (
Subrecipient Agreement, on file in the City Clerk's office, with the Brother E
Foundation.
3. That the Mayor is authorized to sign the Community Development Block C
Subrecipient agreements on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
