RESOLUTION NO. 97-714
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
OF $1,000 FOR THE LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the Gensler Family wishes to present $1,000 for the purchasl
of children's books for the new library; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift to the Carlsbad Cit
Library;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City G
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $1,000 on behalf of a
citizens of the City of Carlsbad and hereby appropriates these funds to thr
library's Gifts and Bequests Book Account.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City o
Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 16th day o
December , 1997, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, and Hall
