RESOLUTION NO. 97-721
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
REVISED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR CLASSIFICATIONS
REPRESENTED BY THE CARLSBAD FIREFIGHTERS’
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, representatives of management and the Carlsbad Firefighters’

‘7 Association conducted negotiations pursuant to the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act regarding ll

wages and other terms and conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, said representatives reached agreement and submitted the
Memorandum of Understanding in March 1997 to the City Council which was approved;
and

general wage increase effective the pay period inclusive of January 1, 1998; and I*
WHEREAS, the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding call for a 2%
WHEREAS, funds for this salary adjustment are available and have been included
17 /1 in the Fire Department operating budget for Fiscal Year 1997198.
