RESOLUTEON NO. 98-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN RECORDS KEPT BY RISK MANAGEMENT
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad resolves:
1. That pursuant to Section 34090 of the Government Code, Risk
Management is authorized to destroy a log book and general liability claims and tort law
suits and have been closed more than 5 years.
2. This resolution shall not authorize the destruction of any record
which the City Attorney deems is necessary for the ongoing or current activity of the
ofice of the Risk Manager.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 6th day of JANUARY 1998, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
