A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. FAC98-2
FOR THE ELMWOOD HOUSE ADA IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad, California for the
Elmwood House ADA Improvements in accordance with Contract No. FAC98-2; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bid received for this project was submitted by
Lesicka & Joy Construction Co. in the amount of $31,500; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Capital Improvement Program, ADA
Mandate - City Facilities project; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $31,500 by Lesicka & Joy Construction Co. for the Elmwood House ADA
Improvements, Contract No. FAC98-2 is hereby accepted and the Purchasing
Officer is hereby authorized to execute a purchase order for this project.
3. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at its
regular meeting held on the 13th day of , 1998, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis , Finnila, , Kulchin, and Hall
