A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FOR PARK LAND AND APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR
VILLAGE “Q” AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PROCESS THE GRANT DEED AND MAP FOR RECORDING
CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 93-04, RANCHO CARRILLO PHASE I
I WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad and Continental Ranch, Inc., have entered into a1
agreement for Continental Ranch, Inc. to dedicate additional park land and transfer of title to thi
park site to the City of Carlsbad in satisfaction of the park’s conditions contained in the Ranch1
Carrillo Master Plan, Ordinance NO. NS-247; and
WHEREAS, Continental Ranch, Inc. has offered 16.4 acres of park land for dedication t
the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, Continental Ranch, Inc., has submitted a Final Map known as Carlsbad Trac
(I No. 93-04, Rancho Carrillo Phase I Village “Q” to the City of Carlsbad for approval; and 13
l4 II WHEREAS, the Tentative Map of Carlsbad Tract No. 93-04 with conditions, wa
approved by the Planning Commission on 1/4/95, pursuant to Resolution Number 3706; and 15
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that said map substantially conforms t 16
said conditionally approved tentative map; and 17
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for said Final Map have been completed c la
19 I I secured; and
20 WHEREAS, the developer has offered public street and public easements for dedicatio
21 to the City of Carlsbad; and
22 II WHEREAS, the Final Map conforms to the City of Carlsbad General Plan and i
23 requirements of City Codes and Standards; and
24 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad determined it to be in the pub1
25 interest to approve said Final Map; and

1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
2 California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the grant deed for park land which is on file with the City Engineer and is
!5 incorporated herein by reference, is accepted.
6 3. That said Final Map known as Carlsbad Tract No. 93-04, Rancho Carrillo Phase I
7 Village “Q”, which is on file with the City Engineer and is incorporated herein by reference, is
8 accepted.
9 4. That the City accepts the dedications shown on the Final Map.
5. That the City Clerk is authorized to sign the Certificate of Acceptance on the Fin: 10
11 Map.
12 6. That the City Clerk is authorized to cause the original grant deed and original Fin:
Map to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State c 13
l4 11 California.
15 7. That the City Clerk is authorized to release the map to First American Title lnsuranct
16 Company for recording in the Office of the County Recorder.
l7 (I PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Counc
l8 held on the 24th day of March , 1998 by the following vote, to wit:
19 AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and Hall
20 NOES: None
