RESOLUTION NO. 98-92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORESTRY FIRE HOSE
~ OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE
WHEREAS, WHEREAS, it is advantageous to the City to join with other agencies
in the purchase of fire hose; and
WHEREAS;, bids submitted by nine vendors were judged against known criteria;
and
WHEREAS, Flameco Inc. was the lowest, responsible bidder submitting a
responsive bid;
NOW THEIREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That thle bid from Flameco Inc., 5542 East LaPalma Avenue, Anaheim, CA
92807 is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to
execute a Purchase Order for these items as the need arises for a period of
one year beginning April 7, 1998 through April 6, 1999 which may be
renewed by the City Manager for three (3) additional one (I) year periods.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad held on the 7th day of April , 1998, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
