RESOLUTION NO. 98-125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
WILDLAND FIRE PROTECTIVE GARMENTS
WHEREAS, Section 3.28.130 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code provides that
materials and services costing over twenty-five thousand dollars may be obtained through
open market procedures when no bids are received pursuant to bid procedures; and
WHEREAS, quotations were submitted by three vendors and were judged against
known criteria;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the quotation from Wildfire Pacific Equipment Inc. is hereby accepted
and the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Order
for these items as the need arises for a period of one year beginning May 6,
1998 through May 5, 1999 which may be renewed by the City Manager for
three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad held on the 5 day of May , 1998, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Nygaard, Hall & Finnila
NOES: None
