RESOLUTION NO. 98-173
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A DONATION OF $500 FOR THE LIBRARY ADULT
LEARNING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Starbucks Coffee wishes to present $500 for support 01
Library's Adult Learning Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift to the Carlsbad
Library;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ci
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $500 on behalf c
citizens of the City of Carlsbad and hereby appropriates these funds to the I
Learning Program account No. 0014055-7550 for the purchase of books, soft\
and other instructional resources.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the -
day of June , 1998, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and H:
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
